One oven, one recipe, every morning
Little Lantern started as a cart outside the farmers market, run by two cousins with their grandmother’s grilled pork recipe. The line got long enough that they moved into a narrow shop on Market Street with one bread oven and a pickup window.
Every morning the oven runs from 5 AM. We grill over charcoal, pickle our own carrots and daikon twice a week and drip every coffee through a phin, one cup at a time.
